Céline comes from a family of vine-growers. After working for her father Jean-Marc Brocard on his estate for 13 years, Céline & Frédéric decided in 2013 to go it alone and create their own wines.
Made up of 35 separate parcels, Domaine Gueguen vineyards enjoy both a great complexity and incredible richness. The vineyards are carefully managed to preserve the environment; the vines are cultivated using fully organic methods and yields are very limited. Harvesting is also done in small crates followed by a rigorous sorting process. Céline and Frédéric apply traditional farming methods in respect of the land and are proud to cultivate some ancient grape varieties that are almost extinct.
“Skillfully crafted expressions of their terroirs, the white wines from Gueguen display the elegance and unmistakable flavour of Chablis and Auxerrois that make this region popular around the world.”
