On the nose, aromas of gooseberry, honeydew melon, and herb de provence with notes of green apple and almond. The palate is light and refreshing, with citrus, gooseberry, and a crisp green apple finish.
Grown on old vines planted in 1965, this wine impresses with its fruity and fresh character. The aroma is a pleasant combination of white flowers and lightly toasted almonds. The character of the soil comes out in a great minerality, leading into a honeyed finish. Sélection Massale refers to a traditional vineyard management method whereby dead vines are replaced with clippings of the best and healthiest vines in the vineyard, retaining the character of terroir.
Well-balanced and slightly racy, very typical Chablis. It reveals notes of lemon, quince, and white flowers associated with discreet hints of white peach. Complemented by limestone/minerality (terroir) as well as an imperceptible hint of almond.
Aromas of honey leap from the glass over stewed apricots with a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. A light and silky entry quickly builds into a sensational semi-sweet burst of fresh apricot and spice carried by gently warming spirit. Seamlessly integrated and perfectly balanced with excellent palate length. Finishes clean, drying and refreshingly grapey. A superb drink!
Lemon yellow in the glass, with aromas of Anjou pear, baked apple and pastry. Dry, nicely balance with good acidity and a crisp finish. Flavours of citrus, pear, sourdough, slate and mineral.
Lovely pale straw colour, with great aromatic richness. Wildflowers in bloom, fresh green grass, wet stones, zippy fruit, citrus and green apple. A round mouth with good intensity, fresh and fruity with a dry lasting finish — electrifying. Wonderful balance.
A complex, harmonious blend of Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. The combination of blue and grey slate from steep hillside vineyards gives the wine the unmistakable Mosel minerality. The aging process on fine lees adds structure, complexity, and a wonderful creaminess. Dry, well balanced with depth and a well-integrated acidity.
Beautiful dry Riesling, with aromas of slate, apricot, lime, and citrus with a hint of tropical fruit and a touch of honey. Racy acidity, dry, medium weight with very fine flavours of citrus, apricot and honeycomb on the palate. Fresh and elegant with a long lime sliding on slate finish.
A beautiful nose of rose petals, mango puree, pear, with a hint of nutmeg and cloves. Lush mouth- feel, there is a roundness to the lychee fruit, pear and baking spice flavours. A dry Gewürztraminer, with a clean and refreshing finish. A wine of great balance and structure.
